I already have a scope on my TOZ-78 (22LR bolt action), and i've been toying with the idea of adding a laser to the system. I have an old Crossman laseraim that I don't use, I had bought it about 10 years ago for use on one of my pellet rifles, but it just kept falling off the gun, so I threw it in a drawer and pretty much forgot about it, until I went looking for something else and found it in the same drawer I had dumped it in. Now i'm trying to figure out a way to make use of it, by somehow adding it to the already scope rifle, just for the cool factor.... (I watch too many bad movies, so what ?).

I figure that simply taping it to the barrel not only would be rather ugly, but might somehow affect accuracy, as it would alter the barrel's harmonics. So I'm left with either somehow hanging the thing off the front site, or add it to the existing scope. Any ideas how that could be done simply ? Is there a backet out there that I could modify for such an application, I'm mostly trying to find a way that wouldn't look <too> ugly, and wouldn't require any permanent alterations of the gun.

I figure that at the very least, if I manage to zero the scope and the laser to different ranges (say, laser at 25M and scope at 100M), I'd at least be able to use it as a crude range finder.
