I'm a total scope noob so I grabbed a couple cheapy Tasco 4x20s for my .22s to learn 'bout usin' dem there fancy optics.

And haven't even mounted em yet:D

The problem with my JW-25A is I need something to mount the scope high, because of bolt clearance and the sights...and I have absolutely no idea where to start looking for something like that lol.

I'll post pics if needed(trying to avoid that since my camera is absolute crap), but can anyone recommend something?

Now, the Ruger 10/22, really easy to mount a scope right? well, it would be mounted already but I bought the gun second hand from a friend and he lost screws for bolting the mount onto the receiver......

:bangHead:

The Ruger screws you might find at your local gunshop. Being a 10/22, they should be readily available.

As for the Norc, I used BKL riser blocks for mine. BKL-166 topped with BKL-257 rings.

High, but the scope just clears the bolt handle.
Sorry, no pics with the scope mounted  .

Thats a sweet set up there, what kind of sling are you using??Can a quick site see tru mount work or...??

Cool, thanks Echo I'll look into those....although I'll feel like a bit of an idiot spending around 30 bucks for a set of riser blocks when I paid $7 for the scope lol.

I'll hunt around for a cheaper alternative.

btw, your stock looks really nice.

To the best of my knowledge, it's a standard 3/8 dovetail.
The sling is a Butler Creek, I think. Got it cheap, the keeper fit in the stock slot with no fitting so there she stays.
