Was looking at getting a R700 SPS Tactical in .223 and I was interested in getting Vortex Scope and rings. But I notice that the rings I want are to be mounted on a picitinny rail & that the R700 SPS doesn't have one on top. Is it just a regular rail or something a little more special? If it is "special" where would I pick one up?
Also is there any other info/triks/tips I should know for mounting a scope and sighting in? This will be my first "precision" rifle as well.
