mounting big assed scope on ar-15

looking to mount a bushnell 6-18 x50mm banner scope on my ar :shock: ,until i get a longer range rifle to put it on. What rings would you recommend and where can i get them? Something that would clear the front sight.
If anbody knows where to get these in the GVRD then please chime in

Try hauling your rifle and scope out to Hunters in Surrey. They have a good selection of rings in stock and experience in messing around with AR's.

I had that mounted on my HBAR at one time. I was using an Armalite or DPMS one piece mount though. Just cleared the barrel.
