Mounting options.

After looking around at some optics for my PWS I'm thinking about getting a Leupold Mark AR that Wolverine has listed.

I'm interested in getting a cantilever mount but not sure the best option. I looked around and saw OST has Vortex and Questar has RRA, any other dealers that have some QD cantilever mount options that will fit this scope?

Vortex uses the ADM mount. it's stellar. No doubt about it. I use it on my Tavor in a 3" offset and it is one if my favorite pieces of kit.

That is what I use on my AR, works great, holds zero perfect and quite a bit cheaper than similar ones.

I know this doesn't answer your question but I think that the Leupold is too much optic for your Diablo. It's over 9 inches long! Do you need magnification?

I think an Aimpoint Micro or one of the Eotech XPS series would be perfect for a 7.5".

I know magnification isn't needed for my 7.5 and I thought about picking up an XPS. I've got a Vortex on my other AR so I'd like to have an optic with some magnification in the event I decide to move it over to my other rifles and use it from time to time. I'll still probably grab an XPS at some point though. Gotta blow that tour money somewhere >.>

In that case check out Brownells, and type in Cantilever in their search option, should be able to find something from them.

Cheers for the info guys. I ordered one of the Burris P.E.P.R through Mystic Precision and just put in my order for the scope. Brownells had some nice options though most over the $100 limit -.-

Can't wait for this and the rest of the goodies I ordered from OST to get here and I can complete this rifle

I run ADM mounts, one from Vortex and one from Arms East... The fit and finish is flawless, they are super strong and IMO they have one of the best latches, very solid and heavy duty...

I would've suggested a larue lt104 mount if you could find one, or perhaps an ADM recon. I hear good things about ADM but the one mount I have had issues when I got it. Mine seems to be the exception not the rule from discussions I've had with others though.

I hate to tell you since you already ordered the P.E.P.R., but the ADM mounts are exempt from the $100 limit. I just bought one from Brownells... got it last week!

Ah that's ok the Burris mount fits what I was looking for. If I ever need another cantilever, now I know and knowing is half the battle!

Yup. The 104 is a great mount. I prefer the 135 though.

I guess I would too if I couldn't get LaRue.
