Mounting scope mount M14.

Ive searched the forum and found nothing.

Do you need special tools to mount a scope mount (ARMS type). i was thinking that the stripper clip guide may need a pin removed before the part is removed?

Yes you need to remove the pin in the stripper clip guide. Punch it up from the bottom so it goes with the guide.

What mount do you have?

After you remove the pin, drift the charger bridge out to the left, as looking from the rear. The dovetail is biased.

I have a TSA marked scope mount. Almost exactly the same as the ARMS 18. Anyone know anything more about these?

Would this be as good as an ARMS?

This was an Ebay purchase, took my chances and the mount is sold. I think that its a copy, but perhaps someone could shed some light on the item.

Im having a pain mounting my Dlask scope mounts on them and will start looking for mid ARMS 22 this week. The scope mounts above are stock photo but the mount is EXACTLY as above.

so far Im happy with the $100USD spent, but only range time will tell.

Speaking of eBay, I see mounts for an Airsoft M-14, I wonder what they are like?, they look like ARMS mounts too, but the new style not like the TSA which seems to be a copy of the old style.

Let us know how that mount works out for you. Lot's of us would like a cheaper alternative that works properly.
