Mounting steel rings on aluminum bases?

I purchased some Leupold Rifleman bases online (not realizing they were aluminum) and am planning on using steel Leupold PRW rings with them. Anybody think this may be an issue? Obviously the steel rings are going to be signifigantly harder/stronger, but I'm just wondering if the setup will work okay. The rifle is a Cooey Model 71 (Winchester 670) in .30-06.

Weaver has been making aluminum bases since forever, and just about all rings are steel. Shouldn't be a problem. The bluing on the surfaces protect from chemical interaction.

But I do prefer the steel bases.
