sorry, im a little foggy on the rules for shotguns. is it legal to put a folding stock on my remington 1100 semi-auto 12 gauge with a "18.5 inch barrel?
also whats the round capacity limit? (not for hunting or competition, just shooting clay with friends) thanks.

I'd suggest asking in the Black and Green shotgun forum. It's beneath this one.

FWIW, the Remington 1100 has a gas tube that extends into the stock. Folders aren't an option.

Legal limit on a centre-fire semi-auto of any type is 5 in the magazine. Also, if you are shooting with friends at a clay target club your extended magazine might not be welcome. Any clay club I've been to limits the number of rounds in your gun to a maximum of two and it's a rule that is taken seriously in most places.
