Are scopes cheaper for semi's? Do you know of a semi that will feed .22 shorts reliably?

Jim

Scopes will be the same, but you'll get a faster follow-up shot.

The Remington 522 Speedmaster can run .22lr, .22long and .22short. It's a tube-fed, but I guess that doesn't bother you if you're running a BLR.

I'm looking for a really good low light scope that I can put on a BLR .22. I was going to look for some kind of 'night scope' to help thin out the varmint population around the farm but the cost is out of proportion to the problem...so I'm thinking a decent ( compact? ) scope and a good flashlight might be all I really need.

Any recommendations on optics?

I have the browning lever gun and I have the 2-7 Leupold rimfire scope on it. I have never tried it in low light however. FS
