moving to meadow lake saskatchewan

OMG I laughed when I saw how many people just automatically started welcoming you. I've only driven through there and stopped for gas and a bite to eat. Seemed like a nice place for hunting and fishing.

What will you be doing there?
 
Welcome to CGN. Never lived near Meadow Lake. Not sure if I ever will for that matter. Some nice country up there and a few good areas to hunt from my understanding.
 
Ya there's good whitetail deer, moose and elk hunting. Birds upland and migratory and fishing galore if that's what your into then you have come to the right place. We have a rifle range only goes up to 200 yards but it's always accessible and cheap to join. Not much for restaurants, honestly they all suck. We are called a city but really it's not. I moved up here 3 years ago and once you have been here a bit you will understand what I'm saying. I think they went city status just to get us to pay higher taxes. No where to eat after 10pm unless you like what 7-11 has to offer. All around it's an ok place to call home.

I'm from a very small community , I was never into the big city scene , I'm anxiously awaiting my interview for meadow lake pulp mechanical. I love to hunt , love the outdoors and boating. My girl friend and I really hope things work out. Thanks for chiming in Geoff!
