Moving!!

Good evening all. I am moving from Ontario to NS. I have all my permits and hunting licences for Ontario and wanted to know what I need to do to switch everything to NS. PAL is a no brainer. More wondering about the hunting licence and courses I have already paid for and taken.

Don't carry about paying for another small game licence in NS but do not want to have to pay for doing the hunting course all over again. Money grabs are bad enough as it is.

Anyone have experience with this?

Related Requirements:
Non-residents and individuals moving into the province can apply for a Wildlife Resources Card but it will not be issued until proof of successful completion of a Nova Scotia recognized Hunter/Furharvester/Crossbow/Bow Education Course is provided.

Most of the time they will except your training from another province as its probably better then ours here. What other courses are you referring to besides your PAL and hunting course? Where about are you moving to?

Does on still have to meet the residential requirement before a resident hunting lic will be issued?
In BC I recall it being 6 months continuous residents to meet the resident lic requirement.

I think its 3 months Rob or I know it use to be.

At least 6 in NL. They should accept course, but interprovincial stuff can get contrary... bring proof of course anyway.
