Mp40

Greetings to all.

Have been searching in vain for a step by step or reference on how to remove the extractor from an MP40 bolt. There does not appear to be any knock-out pins or other retaining device. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

A real working MP40? Or a Dewat or toy MP40? Marstar has a manual for $29.50 And an 'Operator's manual' for $10.95.

Just field strip the gun and remove the extractor, replace with new one and put her back together. It just holds itself in. There's no trick to it.

"Firearms of the world" has a step by step illustrated section.

They say the guns will cycle any ammunition but they actually require a very hot load.

You will note that there is nothing holding the extractor in except it's shape and tension....

Pry it off, easy does it ....
