MR 223 thread on barrel? Flash Hider/Compensator? pics added

What is the thread on the barrel (where the flash hider mounts) of the MR223? Is it 15X1 (HK) or is it1/2X28 like AR? Plaese no speculation....just the facts.

OK, now that I know the thread pattern, what compensator/flash hider are you guys running? The flash hider for the HK 416 would be perfect except it is in 1/2X28 like an AR? Do you know where to get these in the metric thread?

It's 15x1 HK. Good news is any HK flash hider will go on. I used a G3 one. (HK 33 and G3's and G36's are all the same, no matter 5.56 or .308).

You should be able to find one cheap.

decided to go with the FH for the G36.HKparts had these in stock and they are used on the HK416. I have on backorder the A2 Birdcage style for the HK416 as well here are some pics:

I have never mounted it. I went with a muzzle brake from Dlask arms. It is similar to the one linked here for the VZ58:

They made me one with 15x1 threads. It is very effective at reducing muzzle rise.

The one I have on the way from HK looks like the one in the picture that you have. I also was in contact with Dlask and Josef sent me some pics of what they offer.

I will install the HK F/H when it arrives and see from there. I also back ordered the F/H for HK 416 and will take it when it arrives.
