Ok, so I'm in slightly better shape than Mr. Burns, pictured here before his Black Badge course, but I was shocked at how sore the muscles around my left collarbone were getting after range visits.
I chocked it up to holding the handgun up and outstretched too long or turtle-ing my head and neck. Since then I tried to correct this with a more relaxed and intentional push and shoot without any obvious turtle. I'm bring the sights up to my eyes, not my eyes to the sight. That said, I went to the range yesterday and when I wake up this morning it is killing me again. A little A535 and it settles down in a few hours, but the muscles are definitely still tight there. It only hurts with a two-handed grip, not with strong or weak hand only grip.
Is this something you had for the first little while and then it strengthened up and went away? Can anyone remember any bad habits that specifically cause this or stretches to limber up those muscles.
