MRA is discounting their "Version 1/Mk. 1" Renegade kit, because they have now introduced their "Renegade MK. 2" kit, that includes the AR-15 BOLT CATCH assembly housing in the MRA "Bottom Metal" (aka: "Lower Receiver") that was not available in the V1/Mk.1 kits, and includes a modification to the Mk.2 Upper Receiver to interface with the lower "Bottom Metal/Receiver" Bolt Catch modification.
So they are selling off existing stocks of "V1/Mk.1" kits to make room for the Mk.2 product.
Nothing wrong with the Mk.1 assembly/kit, but if you want the AR-15 style Bolt Hold Open feature ("Bolt Catch"), like they incorporated from the get-go on the .308Win "Maverick" kit, you will need the MRA Renegade Mk.2
