Hi:

I bought a Vortex Solo R/T MRAD monocular and have been having a lot of fun learning how to use the MRAD system. I am far from being a master of the MRAD system but have discovered some really neat and cool stuff you can do with it. I even bought a radian compass to monkey around with, in conjunction with my little Vortex monocular.

I believe it is time for a little upgrade from that little Vortex Solo into a more serious MRAD spotting scope. Not too sure about that Barska, but maybe it is okay for a learning tool. What the heck.

Therefore, I am seeking suggestions of what upgrade MRAD spotting scope product's are available, and most important, CGN sponsor firm's that I can contact.

Thank you gentlemen.

Bushnell and leupold have mrad spotting optics.

They aren't cheap. They are worth the money.

What do you want to do with it?
Carling impacts from trace via the reticle can be done if the rifles. Doped properly and come up's are known can be done.

I sue a 15 power vortex monocular as my spotting optic, centre on the target, get my shooters dope, get them to fire. As I'm directly inline with the bore of the rifle I expect to see the round culminate at the mil line specified, if the rounds going right I can call wind as a correction in wind from that.

Think in mils, not a linear value when you do this.

If you wait a week or so, I've been testing 3 different spotting scopes with mil reticles (Bushnell LMSS, Athlon Cronus tac and Minox MD60ZR) and I'll be posting up a review/comparison.
