MSAR STG-556 Help

Hey everyone,

So I tried to use the search function on the site and tried to Google it (with no luck). I was wondering if the MSAR STG-556 was legal in Canada?

I know that the Steyr AUG is Prohibited by name only so this appears to be a great secondary option.

Any insight from the community is appreciated. I do apologize if this is actually somewhere and I simply could not find it

MSAR is out of business anyway and they were not very good ether from what i heard . Get a Tavor , better rifle.

Prohibited by name. So any thing looks like it and function like it
And a clone will be considered as the "variant"

Just like all AK variant are prohibited
Galil type 56 all considered as AK variant


Same thing applied to AR. HK MR223. SIG 516 are all considering as AR variant
