MSF 7.62x39mm Corrosive?

Can anyone tell me if newly manufacured ammo from MSF is corrosive or not? It is a 123gr. FMJ in steel case.

I believe you mean MFS, and if so, it's non-corrosive.

depends on which mfs you mean. some of the stuff in white boxes was. it was repacked/loaded surplus. The new MFS/Barnaul is NC.

Sorry guys it is MFS. Good to know that it isn't corrosive. $7 a box for cheap SKS fodder, not as cheap as surplus but good to know that it isn't corrosive.

why not just shoot corosive surplus ammo? thats all i shoot. and all i do is clean it just like all my other guns, nitro solvent on a wire bore brush, then finishing with a cotton brush with gun oil. my sks is still in perfect condition besides a little pitting on the gas piston from when my brother owned it (2 years ago, i got it as a b-day gift) he shot a few boxes through it and put it away for around 3 months without cleaning it.
