Hi guys. Anyone know who sells Muellar scopes in Canada? Have a Simmons 4-12X AO and it is OK but looking to mount something else on my CZ 452. Am considering a Bushnell 3200 also. Will use this rig for informal bench shooting and maybe a little hunting. Any comments are welcom.:)

Be careful where you buy it from. If you don't buy it new from the Canadian distributor, no warranty on it. TRy the new Simmons pro-hunter series, good scopes for the buck, or a Bushnell Trophy or Legend. For 22 work, these should do fine.

I bought two new Mueller scopes, one with an illuminated dot and one without. The one with the red dot had problems with the horizontal adjustments and neither of them would hold zero after the first 50 shots. I sent both of the back for repair under waranty and they replaced both of them with new scopes. I used one of these and again had problems with it holding zero, this was again replaced with another scope under warranty. I got rid of both scopes on evil bay.

Don't waste your money on mueller scopes.

I tried the Elite 3200 on my cz452 but after a couple of trips to the range, I gave up on it. The parallex thing really bugged me, the reticle kept bouncing around at 25 and 50yds. Now, this was the regular centrefire Elite, not the rimfire. I ended up with a Bushnell Banner 4-12x40mm AO from DullMart. Haven't tried it yet, but looks like a scope fit for the job. Good luck in finding something you're comfortable with.

My Bushnell Sportview started doing this too. It does not have turrets.

After a while I started to suspect that the adjustment dials were moving when I shot, because once or twice I could have sworn the left/right dial had the screwdriver slot perfectly vertical, and when I checked again it seemed to have moved over a notch or two.

The solution was that there were two tiny screws that adjusted how tight the dial was, and they were loose. So I got the blue loktite and a tiny screwdriver and tightened them up, no more wobble. Then I put some more loktite around for good measure:). Holds zero perfectly now. I suspect that's the problem with most scopes that stop holding zero.
