Mueller gone from Canada

Had a lengthy conversation with Phil before he sent my target scope this Monday. There are concerns with ITAR, illuminated reticles, new regs and possibly no more Mueller scopes or warranty returns. Reading between the lines, anything tactical. Maybe crap like "tactical stocks" are more "dangerous" Got to wonder who thinks this ####e up. He was up front with me as to the outcome on the issue which may not be in our favour here in Canuckland. After doing research on the target scope, most have positive opinions, I went with it while I could still get one and hope there are no problems.
 
According to Phil, the Muellers have all been returned to the manufacturer. You'll have to wait to see what he's replacing them with now.
 
I would suspect amazon.ca listing Muellers for realistic prices has a lot to do with Whitefalls not selling them any more.I bought mine in the US after checking Whitefalls price and had it in my hand for 2/3 of the WF price was before tax and shipping. Having said that,without WF, any Canadian Mueller owner will be screwed for warranty with no Canadian depot for returns.I'm in that boat now with a Pentax.
 
Mueller has one of the best customer service departments in the business... it is the ITAR regulations that are causing the issues... I have a dozen Mueller scopes and couldn't be happier at that price point... the APV is the best scope value out there IMO...

I've had a few APV's over the years, most bought second hand. All have been great scopes.
