Instead of creating a new thread, thought I would bump this one, yes I know its like 2 years old. Anyway, I want to get a red-dot reflex type or holosight scope for my 10/22 just for fun. Has anyone actually bought one of these, I can get them shipped from Winnipeg for under $150.00. I beleive holosights are more like $500.00. I dont much care for the camo pattern, and might paint it black. Any other suggestions for a cheap holosight type sight that willl only see action on a .22 rimfire would be greatly appreciated, and obviously available in Canada.

I'd take a look in the Equipment Exchange for a used holosight. I believe there were a few for sale recently for around $200. I have one on my AR and am very happy with it. For a little less you could try a Vortex Strikefire. Should be around $180. I've been thinking of trying one on a 22 just havent got around to it.
