I would love to go on a mule deer hunt with my Dad and my son. Where is the best place to go and what regulations are there? We're in Sudbury, ON. I'm looking at doing this in 2-3 years from now but would like to start the planning process.
Consider Wyoming as well. Lots of inexpensive mulie/pronghorn guided hunts. Same distance to drive/fly as Alberta. Also brush up on your Ontario deer import restrictions. Whatever you bring back has to be either processed or hermetically sealed.
I hunt with family (hosted) in Alberta each year and it's simple. Get your WIN from Alberta and buy your licenses if you have someone who can host you.
