Mule Deer Mount is Complete

The field photo was taken by my camera, which is a Fuji. The mount photo was taken by the taxidermist in his studio. I plucked it off his website yesterday. There are other photo's of the buck on his site, along with other animals. If you contact Ben I'm sure that he will let you know what camera he has. Glad you enjoyed the photo's.

Wow that is impressive!
The mule deer that I harvested last year (2013) is now complete. The mount was accomplished by "Art Of Taxidermy" out of Lethbridge, Alberta. Ben, who is the owner of the business has done a wonderful job Thanks a lot Ben!

Yes and yes. I did know about him and it was a gift from nature. I watched the buck for two years and on the second year I was selected in a special draw. The year I was drawn, last year, I kept a close eye on him. Spied him several times and caught him on camera.
Damn!! Good grief, that is a outstanding Muley and a masterful job on the mount..... I took down Ben's info, if I'm ever fortunate enough to need taxidermy services in the future. Congrats! Those images got me right fired up about next season!

Beautiful deer, beautiful mount. The taxidermist's photo is technically wonderful, but I think your in-the-field trophy photo shows that animal off to much better advantage.
Best of all, you have not only the great trophy photo and taxidermy, but also those other shots of the animal live in the field on more than one occasion. That adds a lot to the wonderful memories of any hunt.
