Mulie-Whitetail Hybrids experiences?

I shot a 3x3 this year in an area with mulies and white tail. I wish I could load up the pictures from my phone. It had the small ears and the antlers looked like every white tail rack I've ever seen but had the white rump and black tail. I was a little conflicted about cutting the mulie versus the white tail tag. Glad I picked the mulie tag.
