while out tonight looking at geese I came across 4 does & a very small bamby. They ran in front of us & into a standing barley field. Sure nice to watch. About a quarter mile further there were 4 more in a cut field & 1 was a buck for sure. They were 450-500yd out. through the glasses they were all bucks & 2 were very large & wide. You quickly think if I was hunting how would I get a good shot. We watched them for 5 min. and they started to move away slowley. We continued down the trail when 2 more bucks crossed infrount. Both were shooters in most peoples books. Again tall & wide. These stopped in the field not 75 yds. we wre able to get a good look. Very healthy & dark antlers. Seeing the deer made my day,love being out & about. PS lots of geese too.
