There is lots of room of adjustment on these to expand them larger or reduce the size. The carriers are made in China. The plates were level 3 but are 20 years old. We tested a few of these out on a previous thread with 223, 7.62x39 and 308,

Just got mine today, plate carrier appears well made and the plates look in good condition. For the price I don't think you can get anything better��
