Multi part question about glocks, x metal, OAL and 231.

I purchased a new Glock. Now what is the OAL everybody running on their Glock 9mm ?

So far with my other guns I run OAL @1.089. Should that be fine for a Glock, or should I go longer?

I ran out of campros and had to switch to Xmetal 124grn bullets. I didn't change the OAL from the 1.090. And running 4.0grns of 231.
 
Your best option is to get rid of the glock, but failing that, anything that works in a CZ or HP or Jericho will work in a glock.

X-metal needs to be a bit shorter than typical campros/berrys. I run campros at 1.09 and xmetal at 1.06 in my CZ. YMMV.
 
Do you have more than one 9mm pistol? If so, try loading ammo to fit the one that needs the shortest ammo.

You could load several rounds at different lengths, say 0.05 increments, and mark the OAL on the side of each round with a Sharpie. Then take the barrel out of each pistol and do the plunk test with the various lengths.

You don't want to load shorter than necessary because it can cause feeding issues.

I have a lot of 9mms, but load my rounds to fit the CZ and Norc short throats.

1) There's no point in asking us what OAL we use, it wont help you. Find your own: https://www.canadiangunnutz.com/for...g-question?p=14394562&viewfull=1#post14394562

2) When you change bullets ALWAYS remeasure your shortest known barrel (and adjust the powder charge if you change weights). Your OAL might change because bullets have different profiles.
