Is it even possible to acquire 1 good optic and switch it to the various platform that I currently have? I am talking about taking to optic and switch it to various type of rifles ranging from 10/22, Ruger American Ranch Rifle, etc, etc,

I am aware that the mounting furniture would need to be changed depending on rifle, but if most of my rifle have a railing system installed what would be an ideal optic option from 1x up to 500m?

Your insight is greatly appreciated.

Do it all the time.

Run a quality base like EGW or MDT or.... a true pic rail spec. That means the size, shape and distance of the base slots are consistent between rails. I run Burris XTR sig rings pretty much on all rifles now. Swapping between rifles is simple but you will need to rezero each time.

WRT to the scope, depends on your application and budget. Any scope could be used but I suspect you want something higher up the food change so you enjoy better viewing and function between rifles. If I can help, send a pm or email.

The 1.5x5x20's are a good choice, they are relatively short @ 9", low profile
so low rings can be used, good eye relief, faster target acquisition.
Use a quality set of quick detach rings.
