MultiGun info request!

I have seen seen several multigun matchs in the past, but have never actually participated as I have zero/zip/nada experience in transitioning between longguns and handguns in the various methods I'm sure are available. Never really paid attention until now due to a greater interest in the sport. Is it possible to have a mini-info session on this for us "newbies" or at least some reference links pointing to internet documentation on this? Or info on organizations/people whom instruct in this?

i dont know about the rest of canada but most ranges in ontario will not let you do this, stupid as it sounds its true.
Myself and a few other do, if you down my way maybe we can meet up for a range day.
