Today I was firing off some Winchester white box 9mm that’s been sitting around for a while (purchased from LeBaron during their closing sale). They are the 100 round loose/bulk boxes.
I noticed a very stinky burning smell after each shot. Upon inspection, about half the box had “wma 15” headstamps while the other half is the normal “WIN 9MM LUGER” headstamp I’m used to seeing. Did a little research and found that the wma 15’s are apparently Winchester military NATO ammo.
Why do the two types make it into the same box? and is it safe to continue using?
Thanks in advance.
