Murray Charlton Enterprises review

He is the example of what most gun nutz expect from a gun smith.
Murray and the staff there are #1.
And I live 11 minutes from him.
As a local business, I strive to support them as best as I can.
There are two other renowned gunsmiths in the Victoria area, that I know of, all 3 have great reputations for the service offered.
I am sure that there are more, I just do not know them.

Nice guy in communication and does good work but I've been waiting 7 months for a warranty repair on my 629 Canadian that failed on it's first range session.

I'm very disappointed with smith and wesson and I expect a warranty repair center to be able to source parts within 4-6 weeks. 7 months to a couple years is totally not acceptable.

I recently received my M&P 9 after 7 months of waiting for warranty work. No small deal, had the frame replaced and they also replaced the barrel as they said there was an updated design. I kept my inquiries to a minimum and received prompt replies and swift shipping once the work was done. I would agree that this is a good company to deal with and S&W are fortunate to have them taking care of business in Canada.

I have had Murray do work on a couple of 1911 and I could not be happier. Murray also worked on a used Dan Wesson 44 mag I bought. Once again great work quick and for reasonable cost.

I've bought several used handguns from MCE. I also have had a few guns left there for repairs. First class work, never a problem. I am lucky to live only 10 minutes away from the shop.
