Does anyone know anything about South African Musgrave actions? They have been one of the best actions for FTR in the past. I've got one but the boltface has become seriously pitted over the years and I need to either get it milled or buy another. Any suggestions?

Would a light cut across the face clean it up?
As far as I know, these have been out of production for some time. There is a chance you might be able to get parts from a business like Range Sports Unlimited in Kamloops. Always a chance that a TR shooter might have a spare bolt squirrelled away.
I built up a target rifle on a brand new Musgrave. TrueFlite barrel, Robertson stock. These are good solid actions, even if not exactly state of the art.
