Recently acquired a Dillon XL650, and I am interested in hearing which extras or add-on equipment you think have proved their worth. Thanks!

Case feeder saves a hell of a lot of time.
If you do a lot of reloading, the DA bullet feeder is great to have. They have the mini one now, so it's more affordable if you're not doing super high volume.

As for essentials, the aluminium replacement roller arm is brilliant. Makes loading easier in larger batches.
I had a lot of movement in the shell plate on my press, and got a uniquetek toolhead kit. It replaces the ball detent under the shell plate with a reduced spring and plastic ball, as well as clamps the toolhead down so it doesn't 'shimmy' as much when the plate advances.

As on the reloading side, one of the best purchases I think i've made (to make my life easier) was the shockbottle ammo gauge. Much faster to check loaded ammo 100 rounds at a time, versus one at a time for size. Quick to check primer seating and bullet length when it's in the gauge too.

Order I think is necessary
Casefeeder
Inline fabrication skylight
Toolheads for every calibre
Universal decapper
Aluminum roller handle
PF-100 primer filler

My next purchase will be a Mr. Bulletfeeder

I know some disagree but the case-check powder checker is a must have for me. I have 9 powder measure (aprox $100 each) sets that are adjusted for specific quick change cartridge change-overs...but don't be as foolish as I was, just use the measure it came with and buy the much cheaper adjustable powder bars ( $30) for all the calibers/powder combinations you require...much cheaper and almost as quick to change once they are set.

Case feeder
Mr bullet feeder
Roller handle
Foam cover for roller handle
Extra decapping pins
Spent primer chute
Shock bottle 100 case checker

Spent primer kit is great. I used to get the odd spent primer bouncing out on to the floor before I installed this (maybe 5-10 out of 100 pieces of brass decapped)
Shell plate bearing kit really helps to reduce powder flick at the shell plate indexes to the next position.
I highly recommend the Vibraprime primer tube filler as well. And instead of using the included transfer tube, I load directly in to the Dillon primer tubes.

Adding the Mr Bullit feeder really increased my production throughput, and I can focus on doing a visual check on station #1 to make sure the case dropped in the right orientation, and station #3 to make a visual check on the powder level in the case before the Mr Bullit feeder drops a bullet on it. I run 100 rounds through in ~3 mins. An added benefit is that it really dropped my number of rejects when I run them through the case gauge. I think that's because the Mr Bullit feeder pre-seats the bullet more consistantly.

Here's a video of my 650 in action with the Mr Bullit feeder and the shell plate bearing kit installed.

Case feeder
Roller handle
Shell plate bearing kit
4 or more primer tubes
Strong mount

I'd recommend, at the minimum, using the Hornady bullet feed die if not going to a full on bullet feeder. In 9mm, it allows me to focus on other processes for 8 lever pulls before I have to start feeding bullets again.

Case Feeder is the big one. Make sure to get proper feeding tray.
Roller Handle. Get the plastic one. More comfortable and warm. Fits hand way better. Why add foam?
Bullet Tray
Strong mount or better. I built one. http://http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php/1103441-Strong-Mount!!-You-Aint-so-Strong!!!
A light for loading.
Mr. Bullet Feeder. I have the mini and it works fine for 1/5 the cost.
Extended Primer Tube
Low friction bearing kit smooths things out a lot so you don't jerk the plate and spill.
Powder Check.
Extra primer tubes.
I recommend an extended powder hopper.
Lots of Dillon Spray Lube.
Extra Akrons.
Several Tool Heads. If you do rifle you need 2 per calibre. One for sizing operations, 1 for seating operations.
Very very solid bench.

You must shoot a lot to make this pay. I do 800 .40 an hour and maybe 500 .223.

Also get an F-35 and shoot some wolves to make the XL 650 load better.

Things I found to be worth the money.
+1 for the inline skylight and http://www .ebay.ca/itm/Dillon-XL-650-Missed-LIVE-Primer-Chute-Ski-Jump-Fix-Upgrade-BLUE-/281983356524?hash=item41a7848e6c:g:gI0AAOSwNSxU3qak

Thanks to everyone for the great suggestions. Very helpful.

That won't be a problem.

I like your homemade mount, btw, but LockMart can keep its F-35. It would cost way too much money, take forever to deliver, and would probably break down the first time I used it.

You will really enjoy it once it's sorted out. I've used most of the progressives. The Hornady comes close, and some say better. But having used both the Dillon just works better?? in my mind. It's like 2 fine automobiles. You can only simply decide yourself which works better from feel.

The only other problem is it loads so well, if actually enjoy the act of loading itself.... You lose a lot of it because this things so damn fast it barely takes time to load.
