Not sure what section to put this in. I found these pics while surfing. Any idea what this thing is? Is it real?

still often seen at auction in the USA. must have been some market for them at one time as many examples are out there.

That one is Pin fire, rimfire and sometimes center fire are seen.

They make me think that if you need one you should be walkingh the other way very fast and quietly!

That is a double action revolver.

They are typically European, often french in origin. There was a really good article about them years ago in one of the Gun Digest books. They simply called them knuckledusters, a term that I though meant merely brass knuckles. I guess they were a weapon of outlaws in Europe at one time.

Gee, with our laws I don't know if the photo is even legal in Canada!

-short barrel handgun (prohib)
-knuckle duster (prohib)
-the blade is almost 90 deg to the grip when folded out (prohib)

It's a weapon of mass destruction! That could almost be enough to make Dion give birth. :runaway:

It would be funny if the brass knuckles were the only part that was prohibited in Canada... is a handgun short barreled if it doesn't have a barrel? It looks like just a chamber that you have to shoot point blank at someone. Definitely not a target rifle.
