Muzzle brake caliber ?

I've got a Ruger Precision Rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor that I would like to brake...thread pitch and size is 5/8x24. I see a lot of brakes on the amazon, ebay etc for this thread and pitch but for a 308 caliber rifle. How will the larger bore diameter work with a 264 caliber gun?

Also whats up with the price range on brakes, +200.00 to less than 20.00?

Lousy performance...

Brakes are best installed and bored true to the bore of the rifle .20 thou over bullet diameter.
