I am looking at putting a brake on my 300 win mag and need so help. I have my choices narrowed down to
1 - Cadex MX1
2 - Terminator T3
3 - ATRS Gill brake
All 3 are pretty close in price and seen "tests" on the terminator and it looks like it works very well. I would like some opinions from people who have used any of the 3.
Thanks in advance

Amazing how you can ask a pointed question around here and get nothing!!

Anyways, I don't know about the first two on your list, but I have the ATRS 3 gill brake on my .308. I know, the .308 doesn't NEED one, but I can say that it cut recoil by about a third and it would probably do the same for your .300. If it's a slow day at the range you will be sitting all alone... nobody will sit beside you on purpose! Ha... C.

Sorry read threw this quick. I have a Grizzly brake on my 300 win and it works great for recoil , but if you have people on both sides they won't be happy. PS these guys are in Hamilton ont

I like the looks of the atrs brake but don't like the fact it is permanent. I have also heard good things about it. I have never heard any feed back about the cadex, just know it looks pretty good lol

Ya know, now that you mention it, I would rather have a brake that was easier to put on and take off. There have been times I wanted to take it off but didn't 'cause it's a PIA to get back on. It does work though... C.

I have used the atrs brake and it is not worth what they charge, the terminator is very similar to the apa far bastard brake and the apa is very functional. I highly recommend it over all the rest, I have a gen 2 little bastard brake on my 300wm and as far as I'm concerned it is the best out there, and with the gen 2 there is no need to pay extra to have it indexed on your barrel which is a savings when having it installed ImageUploadedByCanadianGunNutz1436332396.713393.jpg

Here's a pic on my 300 with it on, as far as the cadex I have not had a chance to try one yet

You best bet is to get the APA Gen II Little Bastard Brake, the only thing that are better than that is a APA Gen II Little Bastard Brake with 4 port design.

I am running an ATRS gill brake on both my .338 lapua AI and on my 300 win mag with fantastic results can run through 50 rds in either weapon with no sore body parts
