I have a #4 Longbranch Mk3 and I'm wondering if they were ever rebarreled with SVT barrels or had the same muzzle brakes applied by some Arms company such as Globe or Century. It seems strange on a Longbranch.

Hmmm...could it be a conical muzzle brake sort of like a Jungle Carbine, plus the forend cut back on the top? Got any pics?
Do you mean No 4 Mk I/3 with Fazakerly FTR scratched on the left side?

The cone at the end of the Jungle Carbine is a flash suppressor, not a muzzle brake.

That's what the rubber buttpad is for. ;)
