Muzzle break for .308 winchester

Just wondering what the most effective break is for .308 winchester the surefire sounds pretty good but at 2 x the price for what they go for in the states and the fact you can't find them here in Canada Iam left looking at other options

That sounds like a pretty good brake now that I have read up on them. Looking at the dpms version any canadian vendors carry these

I have a Holland quick discharge muzzle brake, and it works wonders. A bit loud, but it's like shooting a 223 all day long.

Another vote for the dragon. I have one on my Bushy XM10, and it is quite impressive. Muzzle rise is non existent, but a might bit abusive to anyone to your oblique.

Ya that lantec dragon looks pretty nice the video on there site going full auto makes me think it would tame down a .308 remington 700 pretty good. Any vendors carry these in Canada don't see any listed

check out kahntrol solutions as well, i have the clamp on style, but they make a threaded and the clamp on to my door (with conversion last fall) was about $200.
