I paid about $195 for mine...gun vanity gets very expensive. I picked mine up at P&D in Edmonton.
You could always try at get in touch with Stoeger Canada...that is if you feel like banging your head against the wall repeatedly. Next to R. Nicholls...Stoeger might have the worst customer service in Canada!
The Near brake is on the left and the Sako is on the right . As you can see the Near TRG brake is nothing like his other brakes
The Sako brake vents more gases downward ( hard to see from the pic ) which kicks up dirt more
The Sako vents to the side. If you look carefully ( very subtle ) the Near brake directs the gases slightly behind ( you can see the slots arching back ). I can tell you without a doubt the Near brake is more obnoxious to people shooting beside you but seems to be more effective for recoil
My shooting buddy had the perfect description of standing next to a 338Lapua with the Near brake. He said it felt like a feather pillow hitting him in the chest !
how long are teh muzzle breaks? Im still wondering if i want a 20 or a 24" barrel for the tikka tactical in 223. if anyone has pics of thier rifles with them please post or pm them to me.
