Muzzle Break Question

Hey guys,

I have a Fabarm Martial 14" shotgun with a threaded barrel and was thinking about ordering the factory muzzle break for it from The Shooting Edge. I'm wondering if I can shoot all types of loads from it still? Right now I shoot birdshot, buckshot and slugs along with sabot slugs. Will the muzzle break prevent me from shooting any of these?

Aside from the cool factor, will it just reduce felt recoil and muzzel lift?

It doesn't matter what you shoot through it. The brake never touches the projectile. It only affects the gasses exiting the muzzle.

I have one on my fabarm. It looks cool and I'm sure it's doing something, but I can't quantify exactly how much it helps. Actually, I need to do more shooting with and without to really test it.
