"Compact" and "32mm or larger optics and A/O" are not on speaking terms.

Most of the shooting i will be doing is under 50 yrds. A fun plinker and mabey bunny getter if i get good with it.
Get a red dot. I'm sure the battery won't die as you're defending yourself from a charging Rhino. They are usually around $6/each and I have never had one die on me... even after being on in the safe for 10 days. They last for years.

Muzzlebreak are legal

Yes, the muzzle break is legal in Canada, but I don't recommend it.

I wanted to get one a few years back and made some research about it. All they persons I talked to removed it shortly after getting it. As far as I understood, they are hard to tighten, so they are most of the time loose. In some cases, accuracy deteriorates. This is only a cosmetic feature. This as nothing to do with muzzle break you find on bull barrels.

THe break you have pictured is made from aluminium. It is held on by a pin that replaces the front sight barrel band. If you are going to use it, the best way is to drill a hole in the bottom drilled and tapped 8/32 and tighten it up with a set screw.
P & D usually have these in stock!

i have one on mine. not the exact same one but similar. mine is held on by one set screw. if you use loctite on the screw it takes quite awhile before it loosens off.

cool

I just thought it looked like a cool add on is why i want it.
Didnt think it would make a shooting difference. Figured i would ask.
From the sounds of things they like to fall off.
Does anyone have any pics of these mounted on the gun? Do they look chunky?
Figure some JB weld would definatly hold it on.
Anyone suggest a slim fitting one?
Thanks guys

Stock 10/22? i think the LCF would be good as it would resemble a mil/Leo mini 14. If you do it please post up some b4 and after shots:beerchug:

Well Dugy you asked for it and heres a pic. All done now more or less.
Everything came off the forum through trade and sale.
Gotta love this place. The jury is still out on getting the muzzle break
Still havent seen a pic of the eagle brand. Others look like too much.
Also have a see through mount and willams glow sights on my other one
which i think will need a swap.
