If you want to cut down on concussion then you will want something that can accept a blast shield. My DDMK18 10.5 isnt that bad but I run a Griffin Armament M4SD muzzle brake, that helps with recoil and makes it a flatter shooter, then I put the blast shield on it to help cut down concussion for both me and the people shooting around me....Honestly more for the people around me, as they feel the blast way more then the shooter. Another plus about the Griffin is they have I think 4-5 different muzzle devices that will accept their shield, so you can get a brake , comp, flash/comp, etc, whatever suits your needs.
I also own a Ferfrans CRD that is a 3 port muzzle brake/blast shield combo, run that on a 7.5"
And I also have Fortis and Rainier arms muzzle brakes, that accept the Fortis blast shield that I also own, I run the Rainier arms on a 10.5" and the Fortis is going on another 7.5" and I share the blast shield between them
They all basically do that same thing, with different styling and attachment designs for the blast shields
I also own the Novekse KX3 but I waited like a year for that when it was back ordered, so I have not actually used it yet. When I finally got it, I didnt like it as much as the other brake/shield combos I had bought in the mean time. For one its the heaviest and longest, and is not a removable shield like the other I got.
