Just got in 99% of the parts for this 11" FDE build (bottom in pic).

I had a question for those who have experience with surefire muzzle devices. I have a warcomp and I also have a surefire brake. I'm curious how much The Warden would dampen the brake's effect. I've had a linear compensated 7.5" .556 before and while it wasn't terrible, I don't want to repeat it. So to those in the know, should I go with the warcomp for the most pleasant experience or should I try out the brake?
FYI this will be a game gun/range toy mainly used for 3gun and plinking.

I've got the SFMB556 on my carbine and originally bought it with a Warden. The brake alone shoots nice and flat with the expected concussion on the sides, and the Warden makes it shoot like you were using a regular A2 FH; that is to say, a slight recoil and climb.

I've since picked up a Trainer can and sold the Warden. The Trainer makes it feel so much better than the Warden, whether it's due to the weight or length.

What barrel length is your rifle? I would like to try a trainer for fun but they're discontinued and I cant justify the price unfortunately.
I'm just curious if the procomp is going to have significantly less concussion or if it will be more or less the same due to barrel length.

I've got a 14.5" Delton barrel. The Procomp works the same as the SOCOM muzzle brake and works very well. The only difference is the SOCOM will attach devices like the Warden or a can.

As best I can imagine, the length of the Trainer can flutes the gas and pressure forward a lot better than the Warden does, giving it a much better control over muzzle climb, if that makes sense.

Sorry I had a brain fart, by procomp I meant warcomp. It also has the SOCOM mounting system.
I can see how the longer can has that effect, it's a good point.
I think I'll probably try out the Warcomp on this build. I can always swap it out after.
