I am typically a savage fanboy, but this MVP patrol has my interest. I have an accustock kicking around doing nothing off my 10TR so I could easily put that on the hog hunter for a DBM.
I want to like the MVP Patrol, but owned a MVP varmint 223 that took AR magazines and it wouldn't feed worth a damn. Are the Patrols feeding out of a M1A magazine any better? I want to like it of the M1A magazine ability as I have a bunch magazines already.
How do the patrols stack up against the hog hunter? I would love an open sighted 308 for a reasonable price, and these both seem to fit the bill nicely.
Opinions on a comparison?
