My 12 year old sons hunting season May till now

12.... they can even take the hunting course at that age..... the definition of hunting the ministry uses really handcuffs us as parents doesn't it?. .. would love to have tye young lad more involved...

My 12 year old just successfully completed the OHEP course. He's now allowed to "hunt" with a mentor but not carry his own gun. When he's 15 he'll be allowed to carry his own gun.

How do you follow that kind of year up? A great pictorial description of a fantastic year for anyone never mind a 12 year old.
 
wow I wish I could of started when I was that young.

I never really had anyone in my family who was into hunting, good on you for that.

Call me crass but I would never let laws as ridiculous as Ontario's sound prevent me allowing my kids to call before they had their hunting course. Truth be told not even sure allowing your kid to shoot a pheasant when he has no license is legal, but I don't know a CO alive who would find issue with it either! :)
