Just recieved my mossy 500 perusader 8+1 from calgary yesterday. Awesome deal considering it came with a full stock and a pistol grip.

I thru on my mesa tactical pistol grip that is threaded for a buffer tube

Now its a nice quick change up between pistol grip and collapsable stock.

I hope alot of you other gun nutz got in on this great deal at WSS and of course the 590 deal they were also offering.
 
Ha a fellow gunnut Recce21 buy one for me and ship it... Just ordered my hogue stock set for it ...

Cant beat the price... That heatshield must go IMHO...

thats funny recce21 is who grabbed me mine aswell.

yeah i just pulled it off my other mossy to see how it looked and snap a pic im not to sure how im feeling about the shield either
 
I just talked to someone there, and they said the 500's don't have the heatshield installed....

OP, did it come exactly like in the picture, or did you add the heatshield to it?

You both PM'd me so I went and got them for both of you. Made the logistics of making sure the right guy got the right 500 interesting but hey, check thrice, ship once right?

The CFC lady was a little confused about me buying two 500's on Sunday and then transfering them the next day to address' on the opposite sides of the country.
 
Awesome deal, and it is what I am looking for. I went to the wholesalesports website and the only shotgun similar to your i found is the Model 88 Security syntethic from Maverick arms, it also comes with the pistol grip and for $199.....
Is it similar to the mossberg quality wise?
i personally pefer mossberg but could not find on their site the 500 you bought

Forgot that you guys pay more than 5% tax. 5% is bullsh*t enough. Glad to help keep a little more money out of the Governments hands :D
