Very nice rifle and great caliber. Quick question? Do they have bases for the scope to help get it a little lower?

The scope looks a little high due to the 36mm objective, but the set-up is about a medium height, which works well for me.

Is the .35 Whelen strong enough for moose?

I figured it would be a little more black though.

Looks good. Seems that the darker grey washes out the black on these stocks...
