Thanks to a fellow on the EE I was able to find what I had hoped for a 40th B'day present of sorts to myself. After missing out on a couple of WTS options on the EE, I decided to post a WTB ad and was rewarded when I was contacted by a fellow CGN'r. He stated that he "knew" where one was and was going to look at it and pick it up if it was nice. He did so, and we wrapped up the transaction the next day. He stated that the bore was at least good after running a couple of patched down it, and other than a couple of stock dings was a nice piece. Well, it arrived yesterday. Disassembled, and each piece individually packed to avoid damage. Once it had all the pieces unpacked I put it all back together for a couple quick pictures. Tomorrow evening I will disassemble and give it a good cleaning as it is still FULL of Cosmo between the barrel and stock and all around the trigger action. Then off to the range on Friday to try it out!
I will post during cleaning pictures at a later date, but here is the just unpacked pic's to start!!
