Hey guys, just thought I'd share how my 460 turned out. Nothing too special really but I will update this as I get my loads worked out and give everyone an honest review of the platform.

First off, I never thought I would own a Norc 1911 but I must say that for what I paid for this gun I'm actually quite pleased. I'm not sure if I just got lucky or what but the lockup on this particular Norc is the tightest I've ever felt, which is mainly why I decided to pick it up. I picked up the Clarke Customs 460 kit off a forum member(thanks again!!) and it was fairly straight forward to install. The youtube video from CC themselves was a big help but he definitely makes it look easy! I used the 22# spring and all the included parts and the fit seems good. Don't mind the dirty gun, I installed the kit before I even had a chance to whip it off. Everything seems to function well but it definitely needs some rounds put through her, hopefully this weekend or next week(fishing just opened).

I've recently picked up an RCBS reloading setup, starline brass, hodgons longshot powder and some hornady 250grn XTPs. Range report to follow.

Cheers

I really, really REALLY LIKE THAT!! I was wondering where you got the conversion from but I seen where . I wonder if there is a supplier in Canada for them? Oh by the way...did I mention I love that??

there is no supplier in canada for the 460 kits.
460 Rowland was shipping the conversions up to canada as recently as January/February 2015 but have since stopped.
currently the only way to import the conversion is to have it imported by a 3rd party company, which really really sucks!
my dad and myself picked up a kit and i thought i should pick up a 2nd one so we could both have one but im not going to pay an extra $200 just to have the kit imported.

the only other way to do this is to go with the 45.08 and piece together your own build.
but i will say one thing about the 460 Rowland kits, those compensator's they put on them really do work!

also, on a related note, i dont kow if anyone else noticed this but Clark Custom Guns no longer lists the 460 Rowland on their webpage since they went to the new webpage. ive crawled all over their site and they dont list it for sale or even have the reloading data listed anymore. its almost as if they have washed their hands of the 460 totally.

My order got stranded at us customs for months but the Rowland good guys provided a full refund. I regret didn't ordered it back in January. now scratching my head like a monkey!
