just picked this up from the EE. my first .22 rifle also have a .22 revolver but I was goin through my arsenal and it dawned on me............... i dont have a .22............. i DONT have a .22 ???? WTF? lol so that needed to be rectified ASAP :D:D

I took out for a quick spray session but a proper range report is to follow.
worked great even in the -20 weather we had today :eek: plus it looks sweet and feels really good on the shoulder. couldn't be happier with it, lovein it.

well I dunno what all this talk about the crap quality of these rifles is about cause i just took it out today shot off one of the 30rnders and left target with just a big ratty hole at 50yrds shoots like a hot damn and thats with super cheap dirty ammo.
 
Good to see you got yourself a 22 rimfire rifle. Everyone has got to have one. And it looks like you got yourself a good shooter that you are happy with. I wouldn't doubt that at -20 my patience would start to wear thin, and I'd be rushing my shots. I wonder if there will ever by much of an aftermarket for the Remingtons, like a tactical stock?

when it gets warmer lol i didnt wanna go wading through the snow AGAIN to go grab the target for a picture lol.

but when you take 30shots and end up with one big hole slightly larger then a toonie id say thats pretty decent. we'll see how she does with some decent ammo and a good cleaning.

i have the 597 SS and it shoots great as well and i also really like the feel of the rifle on my shoulder much better feel than a 10/22:)....
